Westfield Health Takes Top Accolade at Industry Awards Ceremony

27th February 2014

Westfield Health has been named 'Best Cashplan Provider' for the second year running, at one of the health insurance industry's most prestigious events.

The not-for-profit health insurer, based in Sheffield, beat off competition from five providers to win the category at the Corporate Adviser Awards, which were held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. The award, judged by a panel of 20 leading benefit consultants and advisers, was presented in recognition of Westfield's performance in the sector over the last 12 months and the company's recent rebrand. Paul Shires, Executive Director at Westfield Health, said: -To win this award is a fantastic achievement for our company and all of our employees, who have worked harder than ever over the past 12 months to deliver best in class health cover for our customers. -We have rolled out our new brand, under the strapline 'Harder Working Health Cover', acknowledging our strength in the corporate market and repositioning ourselves to ensure we're providing advisers, employers and their staff with the most relevant healthcare benefits, at a time when the NHS is undergoing enormous change. -It's an exciting time for Westfield Health and this recognition from our industry peers is testimony to our commitment to keep improving our offering, and evolving our products and services. After the launch of its Hospital Treatment Insurance (HTI) product in 2012, 2013 was a very successful year for Westfield Health, with the product exceeding predicated sales targets. HTI was designed to bridge the gaps in the NHS service provision, covering a range of surgical and medical procedures. Now in their seventh year, the Corporate Adviser Awards celebrate both advisers and providers bringing 'real innovations' to the field of workplace financial services, and which have been shown to be valued by both employers and employees. Westfield Health is the UK's leading provider of corporate-paid health cash plans, providing cover for almost 9,000 organisations nationwide. www.westfieldhealth.com
