Whirlowbrook Hall, Sheffield Wins South Yorkshire Wedding Venue of the Year for the Third Year

18th December 2015

Whirlowbrook Hall in Sheffield's S11, is proud to announce that they have won Best South Yorkshire Wedding Venue, as awarded by WeddingDates, for the third year running, along with winning the award for top rated Country House venue in the UK.

The award is based on customer feedback from wedding couples during the previous year. Saxon Hotels Ltd re-opened Whirlowbrook Hall in June 2013 after signing a 25 year lease with Sheffield City Council. After a refurbishment, the hall has now hosted an array of events and wedding and the venue is becoming one of the area's most sought after wedding venues with bookings now being taken as far out as 2019.  The award was first won in December 2013 after a very busy first year, and they are thrilled to have won this for the third year running. Paul Brown Director of Saxon Hotels Ltd said -We are delighted to have won this award for the third year running. There are some fantastic venues in South Yorkshire, so to have retained this award is wonderful. To also be voted the top rated Country House venue for the UK, just shows how hard the team work to ensure every wedding day is perfect for the happy couple. This is great recognition for all of their efforts
