Wild Family Fun Day at the Races

Yorkshire Wildlife Park is hosting a race day at Doncaster Racecourse on 18th June, Fathers' Day.

It will be a great day out, with a packed seven race card and entertainment for the entire family including face painting, colouring competitions, kids disco and a fascinating animal facts show. There will also be special guest appearances from CBBC's Andy Day, as well as YWP's favourite mascot, Victor the Polar Bear. All for a great cause...The Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation (YWPF) Following on from the successful rescue of 13 lions from a run down Romanian zoo, the Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation was created in 2013 with a vision to promote a better world for wild animals. both in their natural habitat and in captivity. The Foundation supports many projects across the world such as; reintroducing critically endangered Amur leopards and tigers into the wild, helping secure a future for giraffe and supporting great organisations, such as Polar Bear International.
