Winchester Car Sales help gear up Bramall Lane

29th July 2015

Sheffield United manager Nigel Adkins has a brand new home at Bramall Lane, thanks to a new sponsorship deal with Winchester Car Sales.

The new partnership with the local car dealership, based on Herries Road South, has seen a new dugout and specially-designed seats installed at Bramall Lane. As part of the sponsorship, both the dugout and seats feature the Winchester Car Sales logo, in the process realising the dream of two lifelong Blades fans. Winchester Car Sales, which has been trading since 1996, is a family-run business run by directors Tajinder Singh and Harminder Bains, both long-term supporters of the Blades. Tajinder said: -We are extremely proud and delighted to be partnering with Sheffield United. -Being lifelong Blades fans, it's a dream come true to see our company logo at Bramall Lane, and at the same time knowing we are assisting a club which is close to our hearts. -By associating ourselves with such a world famous name the partnership will enhance our profile on a local, regional and national level. We hope that Winchester Car Sales becomes the first name that people in the Sheffield City Region turn to when looking for quality, affordable used cars. -We have really enjoyed interacting with Blades fans over the past 12 months, something we hope to do even more of this season, and we hope that this is the start of a long-term relationship with The Blades. Sheffield United Head of Commercial, Paul Reeves, said: -I'm delighted to announce yet another new local business partner for Sheffield United. -We are thrilled to get Winchester Car Sales on board. This modern and exciting partnership represents another great example of a local business supporting the football club. The sponsorship has enabled the Club to get stunning brand-new seats installed along with custom built home and away dugouts at Bramall Lane. Winchester Car Sales offers quality affordable cars to suit all budgets and can source any car desired from their network of contacts. The firm were present at the Blades 125th anniversary dinner, getting on stage with Kell Brook to present the award of United's greatest ever player to Tony Currie, and also sponsored the Young Player of the Year Award, won by Louis Reed, at last season's end of year awards.
