Winning evening for city business region

The Sheffield Business Awards has crowned the crème de la crème of industry enterprise and expertise for 2015.

Businesses large and small from a variety of sectors made it on to the shortlist for the awards, organised by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Sheffield Star. The prestigious event was held at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre and hosted by Look North anchor Harry Gration. Now in its 14th year, the awards ceremony received its highest ever level of entries in 2015, with more than 60 finalists across 14 categories celebrated at the evening. The awards ceremony, which was sponsored by Elevation Recruitment Group and assisted by production partner Steel City Events, included a sparkling drinks reception, three course meal, and entertainment. Richard Wright, Sheffield Chamber executive director, said: -The calibre of entries to the Sheffield Business Awards has been increasing year on year, but this year we had a number of exceptional applications to the city's premier showcase of excellence in enterprise.
