World Renowned Referee Agrees To Be On Our Side

A.B.L.E Charity is pleased to announce that Howard Webb, Technical Director for the Professional Game Match Officials has agreed to pledge his support to Fable Charity by kindly agreeing to become a patron. Rotherham born Howard who started refereeing in the local leagues in 1989, worked his way up through the league system and worked hard. He is now known as one of the most respected officials of all time. Howard's career has led him to referee some of the biggest football matches in the world, including the English League Cup, FA Cup Finals and in 2010 he became the first person to referee both the UEFA Champions League Final and the World Cup Final in the same year. Howard recently spoke at the charity's sportsman's dinner, and was greatly received by all of our guests. After hearing about the work we offer to those affected by Epilepsy and after witnessing us grant a wish to one of our patients at the dinner, Howard was only too happy to pledge his support to our cause. Fable charity raises funds to help those affected by Epilepsy and work hard to educate the general public by raising awareness throughout communities to allow Epilepsy to become more accepted in today's society. Patron's are very important to fable, as it is a great asset for the charity to have people who are in the public eye support the cause and believe in the work the charity strives to achieve. I am sure he will be a great ambassador for the charity and we are very much looking forward to working with him in the future.
