Yorkshire born and bred IT company joins Sheffield Chamber Patronage

15th March 2022

Sheffield based IT specialists, Highlander Computing Solutions, are the latest business to join Sheffield Chamber at their exclusive Patronage level of membership.

Highlander provide uncomplicated solutions and support in all things IT, from infrastructure, protection all the way to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and cloud-based computing. Driven by passion, determination and dedication, their expert and skilled team support businesses to implement, develop and manage technology to achieve and drive forward their clients’ ambitions.

Having been a member of Sheffield Chamber since 1999, Highlander has always been an active supporter of Sheffield Chamber. For several years, they have also held a position on Chamber Council, playing a key role in being an advocate for business and helping to shape the future activities and policy of the Chamber.

They have upgraded to Chamber Patronage level to further build long-lasting relationships with businesses in Sheffield. And to support the business community to be more productive and innovative through IT solutions.

Emma-Jane Wright, Marketing Manager of Sheffield Chamber, said:

“We are delighted Highlander has upgraded their membership to Patronage level. Our core values are so similar. We both love Sheffield, and love to support the amazing businesses that call this city their home.

“Our mission is to lead the way in making Sheffield the best place in the UK to do business. Partnering with businesses like Highlander IT, who has such dedication and passion for their clients, is key and helps to drive this mission forward.

“I have worked with their team for many years, as they are also the provider of the Chamber’s IT solutions. They are a pleasure to work with, have a friendly and experienced team with a culture that matches that of the Chamber.”

Steve Brown, Managing Director of Highlander IT, added:

“Our commitment to Sheffield and the surrounding region has been there from day one, all those decades ago!  We felt that the time was right to enhance that with the aim to work closer with the Chamber and its members, as well as assisting more with projects and good causes within the area.

“We’re excited to be Patrons and are looking forward to seeing the region develop and prosper further in the coming years. We want to help organisations achieve their goals and feel that we can offer the right skills, advice and expertise to support them.  The challenges are still there, but the opportunities are vast, and working together and stronger is the key to everyone’s mutually beneficial success.”
