Yorkshire Crisps Appoints Two Field Sales Executives

22nd February 2018

The Yorkshire Crisp Company has appointed two Field Executives to take its sales of gourmet Yorkshire Crisps and traditional style and luxury toffee-coated Yorkshire Popcorn to the next level.

Dan Fawbert (27) and Chris Carratt (30) will take to the road to expand business for the Sheffield-based company with local independent retailers, farm shops and pubs. Dan, who has a degree in English, will cover the area south of Sheffield. He has previously worked as a Supervisor on the Butchery at the Chatsworth Farm Shop and also has retail warehouse experience as well as in estate hospitality. His hobbies include football, cricket, hiking, reading and travel and he has become a true fan of Yorkshire Crisps with his favourite flavour being Oyster, Chilli & Lemon. Said Dan, -I am genuinely enjoying this new role and love being out and about talking to people in places I like to visit myself, such as farm shops. Chris has a degree in Hospitality and, after spending some time travelling in the USA and South East Asia, has previously worked at The Maynard boutique hotel, a popular wedding venue in the Peak District, as well as being General Manager for the Sheffield-based artisan brewery, Sentinel. Chris' favourite Yorkshire Crisps flavour is Sweet Cured Ham & Pickle and, outside of work he's pretty sporty, enjoying running, football, ski-ing and squash. Says Chris: -I'm looking forward to meeting new customers and introducing them to our range of crisps and popcorn. My background with the Sentinel Brewery and now my role at The Yorkshire Crisp Company has allowed me to develop sales opportunities for my two favourite things..beer and crisps! Said Tim Wheatley of The Yorkshire Crisp Company: -Our sales of products have grown incredibly well and we have increased our turnover of products by 28% in 2017. Having Dan and Chris on the road, talking to customers and introducing them to our products will help to establish a good relationship with our core target market in Yorkshire and hopefully we will be able to expand on this area in the future.
