Sheffield City Council's Governor Support Team are looking for business owners with professional and strategic skills to help support schools in Sheffield.

The team are particularly interested in volunteers who are able to travel outside of their local community to support schools in areas where there are a shortage of people volunteering to be governors. If you have a set of professional and strategic skills and would like to contribute to children's education in the city, the Governor Support Team would like to hear from you. We are looking for Local Authority governors (appointed by the City Council) and people to recommend as Community Governors (appointed by the governing body of the school).  The Governor Support Team provides support and training.
