Zest Gym for Women opening soon

28th July 2015

Local charity, Zest will be opening a women only gym in September.

Some women and girls prefer a women only environment to exercise in and Zest is committed to improving levels of physical activity for Sheffield's women and girls. Zest wants to play their part in supporting the national 'This Girl Can' campaign. www.thisgirlcan.co.uk The charity is looking for support from businesses with this unique new facility for Sheffield women.   You could consider sponsoring the gym, or maybe providing some promotional (fitness related) goods which will be given out in packs to the first 50 new customers to sign up to the gym. Or you could make a monetary donation which will be used to purchase promotional goods for the packs. Zest runs the Zest Centre with a swimming pool, gym, exercise classes, library and café; the charity provides services to improve health and wellbeing as well as sports and play activities for children and young people.   They also support people into employment and training as well as having a range of volunteering opportunities. Zest is grateful to the following funders who have provided funding for the new women only gym: the Clothworkers Foundation and the Trusthouse Charitable Trust. If you would like any further information regarding either the Zest Gym for Women or about Zest in general, you can contact karen.purnell@zestcommunity.co.uk or visit their website at www.zestcommunity.co.uk
