An Introduction to Microsoft Word

This course is designed to introduce delegates to the basic functions of Microsoft Word.

This course is designed for those delegates who have either no or very little knowledge of Word and need to understand the fundamentals of word processing. It will provide delegates the knowledge and confidence to utilise Word in an uncomplicated manner to create and amend straightforward documents.

By the end of the course, delegates will:

  • Know how to create a new Word document
  • Understand how to correctly use Fonts and Paragraphs
  • Understand headers and Footers, Bullet Points and Borders and Shading
  • Understand the Clipboard (Copy, Cut and Paste)
  • Learn how to devise a document which is specifically required by you

The course is designed for those who have either no knowledge or limited experience in Word and need to start to create documentation for work or study.
