City and Guilds 2391-50 Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations

This City & Guilds 4 day course is intended for people who need to carry out this initial verification of their work. It covers single and three phase installations and is relevant to domestic, commercial and industrial environments.

After carrying out electrical installation work it is necessary to ensure the new work meets the requirements of BS7671. An inspection and test of this work must be carried out to confirm it is safe to be put into service.

It is possible to also complete City & Guilds 2391-50 – Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations qualification by attending for a further day. Please contact one of our course advisors if you wish to combine the two qualifications.

Candidates move on from this course onto the City & Guilds 2391-50 (level 3) and 2396-01 (level 4).

Delegates will need up to date copies of BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, Onsite guide to BS7671 and Guidance note 3 for this course. These publications can be purchased on request beforehand if required
