Microsoft Excel (Intermediate)

This course is designed to introduce delegates to complex features of Microsoft Excel.

This course will ensure that delegates have increased confidence when using Excel. It will focus on being able to understand how Excel can be utilised to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the workplace. Time will be allocated in the day to allow delegates to work on their specific business requirements.

By the end of the course, delegates will:

  • Be able to effectively use worksheets inside spreadsheets
  • Understand how to validate data, i.e. ensure that cells can only contain specific values
  • Know how to sort and filter data and use subtotals
  • Know how to automatically transfer data between worksheets and spreadsheets
  • Devise a spreadsheet which is specifically required by your organisation

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for those who have had some use of Excel and wish to extend their knowledge to include some intermediate features and functions, e.g. the use of VLOOKUP, Insert Function, Conditional Formatting and Pivot Tables. 

The course would be ideal for anyone who is required to create and amend detailed spreadsheets in a work or study environment.
