This First Aid at Work course is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. If your work activity is associated with a higher-hazard, eg light engineering and assembly work, food processing, warehousing, extensive work with dangerous machinery or sharp instruments, construction or chemical manufacture, then this course meets full compliancy. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary and community activities.
Benefits
Over a 3 day period, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations enabling learners to effectively deal with an emergency situation should it arise. The learner will gain valuable lifesaving skills that will equip them with the confidence and competence to act safely and promptly. This course meets with the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. On successful completion of the practical and written assessments the learner will receive a recognised Certificate that is valid for 3 years.
